Well, Im sorry everyone that it took me awhile to up date our blog again! Im not really good at this but hey atleast Im trying right?! Anyways, we've been busy lately and so here I am to fill you in on what's been happening with our family. Last month in April my kids and I went to Utah for 2 weeks without my hubby. Poor Jon couldn't come with us due to his work and school that he couldn't missed. I think it was a good get away for us cuz Jon needed to study harder because he had 2 test and 7 papers that week. We left April 21st to Utah. We stayed at one of my girlfriend's apartment in Orem for a couple of days, and then we moved to their brand new house later that week in SARATOGA SPRINGS! It was so nice to see my dear friend Elisa and her husband Drew. They were so nice to let us stay with them. We had so much fun over there. I also had a chance to see Elder and Sis. Olson who were from my same ward back in CANADA. They are serving their mission in JSM building in Temple Square in Utah. It was so great to see them. I sure missed them cuz I haven't been back in CANADA sinced I got married in 2006. It was the highlight of our trip. But I was missing my husband, bad and so was Gabe. He would always asked me about his daddy. But we talked to him pretty much everyday and he was so happy everytime he got to talked to his daddy. I knew it was going to be hard for me to travel without my husband but I managed to keep everything under control. The people at the airport were very helpful and they helped me in any way they could so it would be easier for me and my 2 kids. When I got to Utah airport I was exhausted and so were the kids. I was really ready to go to bed, after all it was almost 10:00 P.M when we got to my friends apartment in Orem. Anyways, the next day my friend Elisa's husband Drew told me that I could used their car if I needed to go some where. So that day I decided to used their car and see some old friends. It was really nice to be back in Utah and see the beautiful big mountains everywhere. Gabe was really good and he was having fun as well. One of the main reasons for this trip was to go and renew my drivers license. So after having to call Jon and have him send me my social security card in the mail, I was able to go get it renewed. It was so nice to see the Tjeerdsma Family, Simmons Family, The Olson's , Kristine Stewart, Melissa Lee and her girls and The Ius Family. We came back home on May 2nd and it was nice to see my husband again. Because we missed him so much! Here are some of the pictures that we took from our trip!! Enjoy! And I hope everyone's doing well!
